Denver Film Festival Spotlight

Denver Film Festival Spotlight

If you haven't heard, the Denver Film Festival is in town this week and is packed with a variety of films to check out. But with so many different events to attend, it can be difficult to decide which ones are worth your time! Well this year we are putting the spotlight on our favorite entry.

Walden: Life in the Woods

Here's why you must see this film:

This film bleeds Colorado

First off the cast is a carousel of Colorado talent. From the director Alex Harvey, who is Colorado-born, to actors Anthony Loverde & T.J. Miller who have strong ties to the area. This film not only has talent from the state but is also shot in the Colorado.

The story is a classic

As a radical re-imagining of Henry David Thoreau's classic "Walden", the film takes place over twenty-four hours, interlacing three contemporary narratives of the trappings of 21st century life.
In a time where we are bombarded by information, this film slows us down to ponder what it is to be human again.
